Definition of Collaboration
Where everyone contributes equally with their unique skills in order to achieve the best results possible. This will include good communication and attendance.

Goals + Priorities
Grades - The best we can do. More concerned with how it will look as a portfolio piece.
Learning - We want to learn how to work with a client as well as learning more about maori songs. Values - Different backgrounds and degrees. Willingness to be here and try. Passion and intrigue in to this specific project. We all got our first choice of client and we are willing to put in a lot of effort.

Process
We recognise and harness the differences in our learning and working styles by allowing each other the time and space to get things done. As long as we hand things in on time, communication and have work to show, how things are done is less important.
We should work collectively and independently as we see fit, dependent on the individual schedules and tasks each week.
Small weekly goals will be set - and we can delegate tasks each week as well.

Time
Give time as much as needed and as we can. We except that everyone gives equal time and effort and it is all decided as we go.
We will meet on Wednesdays class time, and then once other time during the week (we have very conflicting schedules so we will decide weekly when and where we meet).

Communication
We have created a Facebook group and a google drive where we can communicate things we need to do and keep in touch. We also have a blogger where we will post our updated work process. Decisions made democratically. “Majority rules” but hopefully all on the same page. We will handle disagreements or differences of opinion by talking it out and coming to a fair and equal solution where everyone is happy. If we can’t do this, we will have to work out how to compromise and work it out within the team before going up the hierarchy.

Critique
Critiques will be given respectfully. We will use the “I like, I think, I wish” concept where we can help explain what we like and what we want to change about certain things. Evaluation of everyones contribution and engagement will be pretty easy to measure as we go through the process, and it will be obvious if someone is not pulling their weight. We can then discuss with the said person on how we feel and what they could do to help. We will engage with other teams fairly and offer any good advice we think will help better their project as we can only hope for the same.

Money + Resources
We will try to keep costs to a minimum as we are all students. We hope to draw on resources from uni and contacts we have in order to keep prices down. We expect equal contribution from everyone but understand that we will need to pay and or do things at different times and are happy to keep tabs of what we have spent on printing/resources/travel etc and pay each other back the amounts that we have spent.
